Buddha’s teachings will help you to find freedom from problems through the simple practice of learning to transform your mind. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has designed three special Study Programmes for the systematic study and practice of Modern Buddhism that are especially suited to the modern world: the General Programme, Foundation Programme and Teacher Training Programme. All three programmes are taught at KMC Wales.
The General Programme offers a range of classes and courses on meditation and modern Buddhist practice to suit all levels of needs and interests. These classes are available on a drop-in basis.
These classes look at the essential practices of Kadam Lamrim with teachings based on commentaries written by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Where: KMC Wales and Online for members When:Monday Evenings 7.30pm Class Length: 1 hr 30min Class Fee: £7 Class Format:This class includes Buddhist prayers and guided meditation. Suitable: Everyone
These classes introduce the art of meditation and how to use Buddha’s advice in our own lives to solve all our daily problems.
Where: KMC Wales and Online for members When:Wednesday Evenings 7.30pm Class Length: 1 hr 15 min Class Fee: £7 Class Format:Class includes two guided meditations and brief teachings. Suitable: Everyone
An opportunity to take a short break from whatever you are doing and bring some calm and focus into your day.
Where: KMC Wales and Online for members When:Monday and Friday Lunchtimes at 12.30pm Class Length: 30min Class Fee: £4 Class Format:The classes include a brief introduction followed by a guided meditation. Suitable: Everyone
These drop-in free sessions include guided meditation, time for reflection on teachings taken from 'New Eight Steps to Happiness' and special Prayers for World Peace.

Our Saturday courses provide an opportunity to explore ideas and receive advice from Buddha's teachings on particular topics.

A series of engaging talks that dive deep into thought-provoking topics designed to inspire reflection, insight, and inner peace.

KMC Wales classes and courses are delivered by trained and qualified Kadampa Teachers
Principal Teacher: Kadam Paul Jenkins
The principal Teacher at KMC Wales is Kadam Paul Jenkins. He is a dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years. The title “Kadam,” was given to him by Ven Geshe Kelsang indicating that he is a senior lay teacher of the Kadampa Tradition.
Kadam Paul has deep experience of practicing meditation and teaching Kadampa Buddhism at all levels. He is much loved for the clarity and warmth of his teachings and shows the example of how to integrate Modern Buddhism within a busy, professional, family life.
Kadam Paul was born in North Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker. His relaxed and friendly approach helps students easily take Buddha’s teachings to heart and put them into practice in daily life.
