When
Tuesday Evenings
7.30 to 8.45pm
These classes introduce the art of meditation and how to use Buddha’s advice in our own lives to solve all our daily problems. They include time for relaxing guided meditation, and clear explanation of Buddhist ideas. The classes are presented as a short series over several weeks, but each class is self-contained – so you can drop in any time you like. The classes are suitable for everyone regardless of experience.
New year is the perfect time to start some healthy routines for living a more positive life. This series of classes will explain practical methods taught by Buddha that help us build a truly effective meditation practice. Through training in meditation and mindfulness we will learn how to overcome stress and create a better world for our self and those around us. Perfect for starting or strengthening your meditation practice.
In today’s fast-paced and uncertain world, happiness often feels fleeting, and true inner peace can seem out of reach. Meanwhile, negative emotions like anger and uncontrolled desire create ongoing challenges for ourselves and those around us, keeping us from fulfilling our deepest aspirations.
In this course, we will explore profound yet practical insights from How to Solve Our Human Problems by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Through clear, practical solutions, we will learn how to transform daily difficulties into opportunities for growth and discover a deep well of peace within our own hearts.
This course is open to everyone and suitable for all levels of experience.
