Wednesday Evening Class

These classes introduce the art of meditation and how to use Buddha’s advice in our own lives to solve all our daily problems.  They include time for relaxing guided meditation, and clear explanation of Buddhist ideas from commentaries by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. 

The classes  are presented as a short series over several weeks, but each class is self-contained – so you can drop in any time you like. Wednesday evening Class is led by Kadam Paul Jenkins, KMC Wales’ Principal Teacher.  Kadam Paul has been studying and teaching meditation for over 30 years and is known for the clarity and warmth of his teaching. 

Everyone is welcome regardless of belief;  you do not need to be Buddhist to attend. Suitable for everyone, including absolute beginners. Complimentary refreshments are provided after the class.

Setting a new direction for our life is not difficult – by learning to cherish those around us we will not only improve our own situation but help create a better world for others. Whether you’re new to meditation or more experienced, this course will share timeless methods taught by Buddha that help us create a kinder world for our self and others.

Kadam Paul Jenkins

The principal Teacher at KMC Wales is Kadam Paul Jenkins. A dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Kadam Paul has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years. He has practical experience of integrating Modern Buddhism within a busy, professional, family life and is able to share this through the clarity and warmth of his teachings.
