‘Every day from the depths of our heart we should recite requesting prayers to the enlightened Buddhas, while maintaining deep faith in them. This is a simple method for us to receive the Buddhas’ blessings continually. We should also join group prayers, known as ‘pujas’, organized at Buddhist Temples or Prayer Halls, which are powerful methods to receive Buddha’s blessings and protection.’
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Modern Buddhism: The Path of Compassion and Wisdom
The benefits of chanted prayers:
– receive powerful blessings
– experience a peaceful mind
– less worry and anxiety
– improved relationships
– connect with enlightened beings
– renewed energy and enthusiasm for our spiritual life
At KMC Wales we offer a regular programme of chanted prayers on a weekly and monthly basis. We warmly invite you to join us – everyone is welcome to attend. The prayer below are also available online for members – the link can be found within the members dashboard under Your Account.
