Amitayus Empowerment with Kadam Paul Jenkins
Over this transformational day, Kadam Paul Jenkins will grant the empowerment of Buddha Amitayus, a blissful guided meditation through which we receive a Buddha’s inspiring blessings. We will receive teachings on how to develop immeasurable long life, merit, and wisdom through the practise of the Yoga of Buddha Amitayus. Kadam Paul will also guide a day retreat on the Amitayus practice on Sunday.
‘Je Tsongkhapa said that for those who wish to experience pure happiness, the greatest obstacles to the fulfilment of their wishes are death and ignorance. To overcome these obstacles, we need to increase our lifespan and our wisdom, and the principal method for doing this is the yoga of Buddha Amitayus.’ ~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
