Buddhist meditation is a tried and tested method that helps us solve our daily problems and realise our potential to be truly happy. Class Structure

Classes consist of guided meditations together with advice on how to apply Buddhist wisdom to our daily life. Suitable for everyone

Teacher
Kadam Paul Jenkins

The principal Teacher at KMC Wales is Kadam Paul Jenkins. A dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Kadam Paul has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years. He has practical experience of integrating Modern Buddhism within a busy, professional, family life and is able to share this through the clarity and warmth of his teachings.

Mindfulness is much talked about and seldom understood. It is the life force of meditation and, like any other skill, can be learned through training and familiarity.

Thursday 9th February:

Anger Solves Nothing

Learning to keep calm when we meet difficulties may not be familiar but it is definitely possible. By meditating on patience we can gain freedom from one of our most debilitating habits and become a source of strength and happiness for others.

Thursday 16th February:

Growing Our Good Heart

So much of our mental pain comes from thinking exclusively about ourselves while disregarding others. Meditating on cherishing others, on the other hand, is the best method to solve our daily problems and realise our potential for happiness.
