Amitayus Retreat

To enjoy a meaningful human life we need merit, a long life and wisdom. Amitayus retreat is the principal method for increasing our lifespan, merit and wisdom and is open to everyone. It is traditional for Kadampa centres to engage in short retreat on this beautiful practice early in the year. Please note this retreat is unguided.

Retreat Structure

The sessions are unguided, with beautiful chanted prayers and time for visualizations and mantra recitation as explained in the prayer booklet.

Kadam Paul Jenkins

The principal Teacher at KMC Wales is Kadam Paul Jenkins. A dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Kadam Paul has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 30 years. He has practical experience of integrating Modern Buddhism within a busy, professional, family life and is able to share this through the clarity and warmth of his teachings.
