General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for thirty years, during which time she has inspired thousands of people around the world through taking his teachings to heart and putting them into practice in every aspect of her life. She is a powerful teacher, able to make Buddha’s teachings easily accessible and to show through her example how to integrate these teachings into our daily life.
Residing most of the year in the UK, at the mother centre for the New Kadampa Tradition, Manjushri KMC, she travels around the whole world, teaching at National and Regional events, and giving public talks on Modern Buddhism.  She also teaches internationally at annual Kadampa International Festivals around the world.

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Texas. He is an American Buddhist monk dedicated to helping people solve their daily problems by developing the capacity of their mind through the practice of meditation and modern Buddhism.
Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. Under Geshe-la’s guidance, he has taught at many centres and events internationally. Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings, and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa  teaches internationally at annual Kadampa International Festivals around the world.

Kadam Bridget Heyes

UK National Spiritual Director: Kadam Bridget Heyes,  a senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang who has been practising for over 25 years. In 1994, she helped to found Nagarjuna Centre and has been teaching here ever since. In 2009, Kadam Bridget was also elected as the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of the UK.
Kadam Bridget is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life. As a mother of two, she has a special insight into how to bring Buddhism alive to meet the demands of a busy modern life. Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
As well as regular courses at Nagarjuna Centre, Kadam Bridget also teaches at various National Dharma Celebrations throughout the year.
