Gen Kelsang Rabten is an inspiring and highly respected international teacher with many years’ experience of putting Buddha’s teachings into practice. Through his warm heart and joyful attitude he makes the practice of meditation accessible to everyone.
Ordained in 1994, he has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 30 years. He has taught in many centres and has been the National Spiritual Director for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. Currently he is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Leeds.
The talk will take place at the Brangwyn Hall in the Mayor’s Reception Room. This elegant room forms part of the civic suite used by the Lord Mayor to host dignitaries and is a very appropriate venue for this special talk.
