The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni

During this very special event, our Resident Teacher Kadam Paul Jenkins will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni. By receiving this empowerment, which is a blissful guided meditation, we make a special connection with Buddha and receive powerful blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our potential for enlightenment.

In the afternoon Kadam Paul will give a brief commentary to the Liberating Prayer, a beautiful praise to Buddha Shakyamuni which is recited at the beginning of teachings and meditations in Kadampa Buddhist Centres all around the world. This special prayer, composed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, reveals how Buddha Shakyamuni is a supreme unchanging friend. With deep faith in Buddha we feel inspired to practice what he taught and by practicing these teachings we will transform our life and experience profound inner peace and happiness.
