Dealing with Difficult People
At times in our life we have to deal with difficult people!
Sometimes others’ behaviour can seem unreasonable, irrational or unjust. We can become locked into patterns of behaviour within our relationships with others that we find impossible to shift, but are unhealthy. Through meditation we can shift these stuck patterns of behaviour and responses by learning to view our self and others in a completely different way. This will help solve our difficult relationships and become more tolerant and accepting of others so that we naturally develop love and respect for them. In this short practical talk, Kadam Bridget Heyes will introduce powerful practical methods and meditations that help us shift the difficult dynamics in our relationships.
Kadam Bridget Heyes is a senior disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been practising for over 25 years. In 1994, she helped to found Nagarjuna Centre where she has been teaching ever since. In 2009, Kadam Bridget was also elected as the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of the UK.
