Amitayus Retreat
Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, merit and wisdom – the main qualities we need for the happiness of enlightenment. Spending a couple of days in retreat on Amitayus at the start of the year is considered very auspicious for what the whole of the rest of the year will bring.
This retreat is unguided and suitable for everyone. If you are new Amitayus retreat it is recommended to attend the Introduction on Friday evening, where Kadam Paul will introduce and explain the practice. The sessions on Saturday and Sunday will include prayers sung to a beautiful tune and time for meditation and mantra recitation. We will also make special dedications for the long life of our Founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Everyone is welcome.
