Vajrasattva Purification

Vajrasattva Purification

in Kadampa Meditation Centre, Wales

June 1st – 2nd

A method for purifying all our negativity through meditation and mantra recitation.

Most of us find it difficult to maintain a positive, light and joyful state of mind all the time. This indicates that there is a lot of negative energy stored in deeper levels of our mind, energy we ourselves unwittingly put there through all the negative thoughts and actions we did in the past. Fortunately all this dark and painful energy can be removed through purification practice. One of the most powerful methods of purification in the Buddhist tradition is the practice of Buddha Vajrasattva, which involves simple visualizations and mantra recitation. There is no need to be a Buddhist to benefit from this practice – all that is needed is an open mind and a strong wish to get all the negativity out of our system.
